A New Chapter of Audubon - First one in 25 Years. 
The 26th Chapter in State of Washington.

The Permanent CHARTER from NATIONAL AUDUBON SOCIETY was presented to Discovery Coast Audubon Society of Pacific County Washington on July 13, 2007. The Charter is dated June 25, 2007.

This has been possible only by the volunteer participation of the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Directors at Large and any and all volunteers.

Saving Habitat is Saving Wildlife

When you want to make a difference in the life of wildlife, including hundreds of species of birds, join your local Audubon Chapter.

We in Pacific County are dedicated to making a difference. To strengthen and broaden our endeavors, we are joining with other groups who are also about making a difference.

The efforts of the "WILDLIFE REHAB CENTER" in Astoria, Oregon, is making a difference on a daily basis. Some birds that can not be released back into the wild, are used for education, such as the Northern Spotted Owl and the Bald Eagle.
